EMERGENCY

Normal Working Hours:  Contact the Division of Laboratory Animal Resources by calling 919.684.2797 or 919.684.5567

Evenings, Week-ends, Holidays: 

  • Veterinary Emergencies:  Call the emergency veterinary pager at 919.970.9410.  When calling, listen to the message and then enter the number from which you are calling or the  number you wish to be called.  The veterinarian on-call will contact you as soon as they can.  If you are not contacted within 10 minutes, redial and enter your phone number a second time.

  • Husbandry Emergencies:  Call the husbandry supervisor @ 919.970.7272 for all animal care or husbandry issues.  If there is no response within 15 minutes, then revert to the veterinary emergency pager.
