Security access to the animal housing facilities is requested by following the outlined procedure below:

• Complete both parts of the online Animal Handlers Training: 

  • Part I - Regulations Impacting Animal Care and Use

  • Part 2 - Veterinary Care

• Schedule an orientation with the facility manager where your animals are housed.

• Obtain the appropriate access card (for the facility you require access to) from your business office.

• Complete a "Security Access Card Request" Form.

• Copy your Duke ID badge, front and back.

• Fax the completed access request form and copy of your Duke ID to 684-8610.
