All animal use applications require a review by the Duke OESO (Occupational & Environmental Safety).  To facilitate the process, the Principle Investigator should contact OESO to discuss the use of hazardous agents.  In all cases, the protocol will be submitted to OESO before going to the IACUC for review / approval.
