The Office of Animal Welfare Assurance serves a central and supporting role for the institution's animal facilitated research program.  Specific responsibilities include:

• Administrative support for the IACUC

• Protocol pre-review

• Post-approval Compliance Monitoring

• Training for Research Community

• Regulatory & funding agency interaction
